This unscented soap is made from our core high quality ingredients and honours the beadwork of Joella Hogan, a Northern Tutchone woman from the community of Mayo. Many years ago, Joella learned to bead from Elders in Yellowknife. When she returned to the Yukon, she made a bag for her mother with traditionally made sinew and this beadwork. Taking “handmade” to the next level, she has combined two of her passions: beading and soap making.
Each Indigenous artisan soap features a photograph of the traditional beadwork printed on dissolvable paper and includes a brief story about the artist. Packaged in biodegradable plastic and a hand-stamped bag.
Best used for:
A soap suitable for all skin types and a great gift for yourself or someone that shares in the appreciation for this art form.
