This unscented soap is made from our core high quality ingredients and honours the beadwork of Ellen Profeit, a Northern Tutchone woman from the community of Mayo. This beadwork has been handed down through generations and is now being taken care of by her great-granddaughter who cherishes it and has a deep respect for the art form. There are very few pieces of beadwork remaining of this matriarch that passed away in 1962.
Each Indigenous artisan soap features a photograph of the traditional beadwork printed on dissolvable paper and includes a brief story about the artist. Packaged in biodegradable plastic and a hand-stamped bag.
Best used for:
A soap suitable for all skin types and a great gift for yourself or someone that shares in the appreciation for this art form.
