At The Yukon Soaps Company, our values are rooted in tradition, land, and love. We’re excited to introduce our newest creation, Birch and Moon, a lovingly crafted baby line inspired by the strength of the birch tree and the calming light of the moon.

This collection is close to our hearts. It’s a celebration of new life and the ways our ancestors cared for their little ones with natural materials and connection to land.

We are proud to share the heart of this new line through the words that accompany each bar:

"From our hands to yours, this unscented soap is crafted with the gentlest ingredients for your baby’s delicate skin. Free of fragrance and full of intention, it’s ideal for your littlest ones and those who prefer simplicity.

Inspired by the quiet strength of the birch tree - often used by our ancestors to cradle and protect newborns - this bar honours traditional care. Though birch is not in the ingredients, its story wraps around each bar, reminding us that love and protection are always close at hand. Handmade in the Yukon with natural oils and plant-based ingredients."

The name Birch and Moon carries meaning and stories. In many northern Indigenous communities, birch bark was used to line cradles or make baby carriers. Its strength, flexibility, and antimicrobial properties offered comfort and protection. Similarly, the moon has long been a symbol of cycles, growth, maternal strength and a guiding light in the darkness.
