This unscented soap is made from our core high quality ingredients and honours the beadwork of Irene Johnny, a Northern Tutchone woman from the community of Mayo. In our community, there is a tradition of beading flowers to make a baby belt for new mothers. This special flower was made by Irene Johnny for someone who has dedicated a lot of energy to protecting the land and water in our traditional territory.
Each Indigenous artisan soap features a photograph of the traditional beadwork printed on dissolvable paper and includes a brief story about the artist. Packaged in biodegradable plastic and a hand-stamped bag.
Best used for:
A soap suitable for all skin types and a great gift for yourself or someone that shares in the appreciation for this art form.
