Joella has combined two of her passions: traditional First Nations beadwork and handcrafted soaps. This new organic and unscented soap line features photographs of beadwork from First Nations women from the community of Mayo. Each soap includes biographical information about the artist and the item that the beadwork is on. Some of the artwork is very old, belonging in collections of their family members, others are from more recent beadwork. The beading comes from moccasins, clothing, scissor cases and even a beautiful baby belt. Each soap shares just a snippet of this beautiful craft. There are eight different soaps, each packaged in biodegradable plastic and an attractive cardboard box to protect the delicate soap.
